XXXII

A night of revelry and of friends. A birthday celebration. Miniature golfing and going to a bar on the lake. Laughing on the porch and broken glass. Stumbling out when the bigoted cook started making racist comments. A house tour and playing with other people’s cameras. Cats hiding upstairs and sneaking around thinking that no one would see them. Telling stories and jokes while trying to listen to Bright Eyes playing on the half-working CD player in the kitchen. Discussing how to fix up different parts of the house and then finally being driven home at 2:30 AM in a little, blue Hyundai. A good night with good people.
